The Contractor range of trailers is engineered to an exceptionally robust standard, purpose-built for operations that demand far more than what many manufacturers consider “heavy duty.”Designed for relentless productivity, these trailers are capable of shifting an impressive 20 tonnes of material every 15 minutes, operating continuously 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Each model in the CT lineup features a fast-tipping body powered by multi-stage hydraulic rams, delivering a generous 60° tip angle while maintaining minimal oil usage. Strength, durability, and excellent manoeuvrability are achieved through a full RHS chassis paired with a single-beam drawbar, creating a structure capable of withstanding extreme workloads. Every trailer comes equipped with a heavy-duty walking-beam tandem axle that oscillates on a continuous 75 mm high-tensile pin, supported by 11 centrally lubricated, easy-grease bushes. The pin itself is positioned 50 mm off-centre to minimise high-speed wobble when operating behind modern tractors.
Operators can choose between two body styles to suit their working requirements: a mono lift-off one-piece side body, offering the flexibility to convert the trailer into a flatbed for multipurpose tasks, or a fully welded monocoque (bathtub) body, ideal for continuous heavy bulk-haulage duties. Both configurations come standard with fixed headboards and extension rails, ensuring strength and practicality across all applications. The tailgate options are equally versatile, with both body types accommodating removable hydraulic up-and-over doors, traditional top-hinged doors, or double swing doors, depending on user preference.
For agricultural operators, a dedicated silage kit is available to transform the trailer for harvest work, making it suitable for transporting chopped silage from field to clamp. This kit is offered either as a one-piece lift-off assembly or in bolt-together panels, and includes a front mesh window, optionally fold-down, along with full rear doors featuring an upper mesh section for improved visibility when reversing empty. To match varying ground conditions, the Contractor range is fitted with a choice of high-performance tyres: 560/60R22.5 flotation tyres for soft terrain or 445/65R22.5 tyres designed for high-speed quarry work, ensuring reliable performance across demanding environments.
