The Farmec Single Bale Linkage Feeder R1-2 is designed to deliver highly efficient and adaptable feeding performance, incorporating the same proven engineering that defines the entire Farmec feeder range.Its true bi-directional feeding capability allows operators to feed out to either side of the machine, choosing between fast unrolling with the roll or a slower, more controlled tease against it, offering far greater flexibility than many competing systems. The feeder is equipped with heavy-duty 2-inch pitch floor chains boasting a 6,800 lb breaking strain, providing superior strength compared with many 3-inch chains. This design not only enhances durability and reduces replacement costs but also significantly lowers the hydraulic motor’s torque requirements, promoting smoother and more efficient operation.
Self-loading forks make handling bales effortless, attaching securely to the tractor’s link arms through robust double lug jaws fitted with Cat II pins. These forks are precision-machined from 60 mm solid conus bar, with one tine extended by 100 mm to simplify bale alignment during pickup. The high-torque American hydraulic motor ensures reliable and consistent bale feeding, and thanks to the self-meshing heavy-duty drive dogs, the operator can connect or disconnect the motor quickly without ever leaving the tractor seat. Enhancing its performance further, the R1-2 features dual rota shredders operating at a 25% increased speed, making it exceptionally effective for processing tight bales, straw, and hay, and ensuring a smooth, even spread in all feeding conditions.
