The Farmec 8-Tonne Grain Trailer is a compact yet robust solution built for everyday farm work and lighter-scale grain or bulk haulage.The trailer features a flat-floor body with two hinged, removable sides, giving you flexibility to carry grain, seed, fertiliser, or other materials easily and unload without hassle. Designed to carry an 8-tonne payload, it offers a level-load volume of approximately 4.9 m³ (at a grain density of 2,000 kg/m³). Measuring 4,000 mm long by 2,440 mm wide with 525 mm side depth, the body is well sized to match the load capacity while staying manageable for loading, transport and tipping.
The structural strength comes from a fully welded 200 × 100 mm RHS chassis, a 125 × 75 mm top-chassis frame, and a heavy-duty deck and side construction, ensuring durability and long service life, even under regular heavy use. Tipping is handled via an under-body multistage hydraulic ram that raises the body to 60°, enabling clean unloading of contents.
The trailer rides on tandem axles with 400/60 × 15.5 flotation wheels (standard), providing stable towing and a low centre of gravity that helps with safe, smooth transport over uneven paddocks or rough ground.
