Description
The Farmec range of trailers is thoughtfully engineered to handle a wide variety of general farm tasks, offering a blend of strength, versatility, and user-friendly features.A fast-acting tipping body with an impressive 60° angle ensures even sticky or stubborn loads are released with ease, while the full RHS chassis and single drawbar member provide excellent structural strength and an optimal turning circle. The four-piece hinged sides are easily removed, and the tailgate lifts off its hinges to allow operation without the rear door, with corner sockets on the deck securely locating the tailgate posts to keep the sides firmly in place. This clever design creates a highly adaptable trailer suited to many different farming operations. Many units are paired with a 1.2-metre bale extension that locks neatly into the top deck members, extending the floor area to 5.2 metres—ideal for carrying up to eleven round bales.
It also features a removable headboard, which can be lifted from its sockets to allow bolsters to be fitted in all four corners, converting the trailer into a practical flatbed for transporting poles. The mechanical auto-opening tail door activates as the trailer tips, or can be upgraded to a hydraulic option if preferred, with spreading chains included to ensure material is distributed accurately. To suit varying ground conditions, wheel options include the standard 11.5 x 15.3 tyres or the wider 400/60 x 15.5 flotation tyres for improved performance on soft terrain.
