Description
The Farmec 5 Tonne Farm Tip Trailer is part of the dependable Farmaster range, purpose-built for versatile, day-to-day farm work and engineered to handle a wide variety of materials with ease.Its fast-tipping body lifts to an impressive 60°, ensuring that even stubborn or sticky loads are cleanly discharged. The trailer sits on a full RHS chassis with a single drawbar member, giving it excellent strength while still allowing for a generous turning circle. Most units are supplied with a single axle for practicality and cost-efficiency, though a tandem axle version is available for those requiring additional capacity.
The sides are fully hinged and removable, and the tailgate simply lifts off its hinges, enabling the trailer to be operated completely open when needed. Corner sockets in the deck securely locate the tailgate posts and also support the sides, contributing to the trailer’s adaptability. A standout feature is the removable headboard, which can be lifted out to allow bolsters to be fitted into the four corner sockets, transforming the trailer into a handy flatbed ideal for transporting poles or other long items. A mechanical opening tailgate comes standard, opening to around 15° and controlled by spreading chains to maintain a consistent discharge of material. To round out its practicality, the trailer can be fitted with either the standard 11.5 x 15.3 wheels or optional 400/60 x 15.5 flotation tyres for improved performance on softer ground.
