The Farmec 5 Foot Topper Mower is a robust, rotary “topper” mower designed as a simple but heavy-duty mower, capable of tackling grass, pasture and other rough vegetation on farms or lifestyle blocks.Structurally, the mower features a pressed-steel body made from 4 mm steel plate, giving it the durability needed for demanding rural work. The cutting width of the mower is 1,500 mm, which defines its “5 Foot” designation. For power and drive, the mower is fitted with a standard 1,200 mm end-to-end PTO (power take-off) shaft and an oil-bathed gearbox rated for roughly 50 hp. The cutting height is adjustable, ranging from about 25 mm to 125 mm, enabling flexibility depending on the pasture or grass type being topped. To support durability and long lifespan, the mower uses pressed skids (with 10 mm wear strips) that help reduce wear if used over hard or uneven ground.
Farmec emphasises that the 5 Foot Topper is built for longevity.
