Description
The Farmec 2 Bale Trailing Feeder R2-2 is designed to be completely self-loading, making bale handling simple and efficient.The specially shaped forks cradle the bale, with the tines sliding underneath so you can remove the wrap easily. A strong 3" bore loading ram gives any tractor enough power to lift heavy bales, and the self-loading design also lets you carry a second bale to the stock. A new variable-height tow-eye ensures the loading tines always meet the bale at the best angle, no matter the tractor’s drawbar height.
The heavy-duty 2" pitch chain and welded RHS floor bar provide smooth, low-torque feeding in both directions. This means you can feed off either side of the machine, which is especially useful on hills or when working with rota-cut bales that tend to fall apart. With 6,800 lbs of break strength, the chain is proven tough and reliable. The drive system uses strong 40mm bearings and full-length shafts, while the fully welded 125 x 75 x 5mm RHS chassis forms the base of its heavy-duty construction. The strong “A” frame drawbar prevents cracking even after thousands of bales, and the fitted 70mm jack makes hitching easier.
Like all Farmec feeders, this model offers true bi-directional feeding, you can feed quickly with the roll of the bale or feed more slowly by teasing against it. The shredder’s spiked drum handles even the hardest, crustiest bales, helped by a non-blocking, self-sweeping comb. The rust-resistant 1.6mm Corten 350G steel floor with four rub bars adds durability, along with practical features such as 2-wire hydraulic hoses, a high-torque American-made Parker hydraulic motor, a large axle, and flotation wheels.
