The Contractor range of trailers is built to an exceptionally robust standard, far beyond what many manufacturers consider “heavy duty.”Engineered for relentless, high-output work, these trailers are purpose-designed to move 12 tonnes of material every 15 minutes, 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Each CT model features a fast-acting tipping body powered by multi-stage rams that deliver an impressive 60-degree tip angle while using only 27 litres of oil, ensuring efficient operation without unnecessary hydraulic demand. A full RHS chassis paired with a single-beam drawbar provides outstanding strength and allows for maximum turning capability. Every trailer in the range comes equipped with a heavy-duty walking-beam tandem axle system, oscillating on a continuous 75 mm high-tensile pin, supported by six easily greaseable bushes with centralised lubrication as standard.
Customers can choose between two body configurations: a mono-lift one-piece side design, which allows the trailer to be converted into a flatbed for more versatile work, or a fully welded monocoque bath-tub body for continuous, high-volume bulk haulage. Both variants include fixed headboards with extension rails and removable tailgates, whether fitted with a full hydraulic up-and-over door, a standard top-hinged door, or a double-swing door. For seasonal silage work, an optional silage kit is available, supplied either as a full one-piece lift-off unit or as individual bolt-together panels. This kit incorporates a front mesh window, optional as a fold-down version, and full rear doors with a centrally placed mesh section for improved visibility while reversing during unloading.
Wheel options include standard 15R x 22.5 tyres for road applications, 500/45 x 22.5 flotation tyres as a common alternative or factory-fit choice, and larger flotation options such as 500/60 x 22.5. For customers preferring radial tyres, 550/45R x 22.5 and 560/60R x 22.5 options are also available, ensuring the Contractor range can be tailored to suit a wide variety of operating conditions.
